The Full Story
About
Hi! My name is Glori Rushing.
The year of 1986 was the year my Grandma started raising Shih-tzus and that was just the beginning of my love for dogs. When i was a little girl I remember getting to play with my Grandma's puppies, help socialize them and get them ready for their fur-ever homes. as I started growing up my love for animals grew and grew. My parents had a 130 acre farm and there was nothing I loved more than my sheep and my dads cows. But my favorite thing was during the summer when i got to spend most of my free time fishing with my papa and when I wasn't fishing during the heat of the day i would be helping my nana with Her shih-tzus. Especially the puppies! When i turned 14 i started learning to groom all of nana's shih-tzus and I truly loved it! I even had the opportunity to apprentice with one of the dog grooming shops for 2 years where i learned how to professionally groom all of our shih-tzus. In 2019 my husband and i got married and my grandma was diagnosed with a rare breast cancer the month previous. Nobody knew what God held for Her future but we all learned that the Lord writes all of our stories and uses us together for HIS glory. In between working 4 days a week, working an 8 hour day at nana's and running a 50 acre farm while being newly married i wasn't quite sure what we were thinking but I don't remember it being a hard season as far as working went But That was the year i learned everything! Nana was sick and i was over multiple times a week keeping Her legacy going the best I could. I learned to whelp the mamas, remove dewclaws, de-worm puppies, give shots, do lots of cleaning and treat sick puppies. My favorite part besides socializing the puppies in my spare time was meeting all of the families that got one of Her babies that i helped raise. My nana is now Cancer free (praise God!) and In 2020 i got my first shihtzu from Her "Glory ridge cashmere n silk" also known as "Wanda". Wanda was my favorite shih-tzu that my grandma had and She will forever be my special girl!! To say i love shih-tzus is almost an understatement. i LOVE showing my shih-tzus in my spare time and winning championships. I also love raising quality shih-tzus and knowing that our Farm.ilies are getting 40 years worth of my Nana's healthy genetics. I am huge on socializing our babies and ever since being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease i have had to downsize our farm but the dogs are still my biggest passion and will ALWAYS be! Besides the Lord my heart will always be for my dogs and I pray our puppies will ALWAYS be a blessing to EVERY family that gets one. Many blessings ~ Glori

Mission
Our mission is to raise Happy, healthy puppies that live a long life of 16-20 years with no health issues! We also raise puppies with outstanding personalities that make fantastic therapy dogs.

Vision
Our vision is to have around 5-6 litters a year and have every single one of our dams and sires genetic health tested through Embark. We would also like to focus more on showing against the breed standards and adding more colors to our variety. Personalities will always be our biggest priority over color but we would LOVE to add some chocolates and reds to our family!
